2023 MLS Regular Season: Inter Miami 2-0 Philadelphia Union
Corentin Jean and Robert Taylor scored a pair of golazos that gave the South Florida side a second straight win to start 2023
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Inter Miami produced a pair of golazos on Saturday, and in turn the team produced another win at the start of this season.
Corentin ‘Coco’ Jean and Robert Taylor delivered delightful goals on each side of halftime to give Inter Miami a 2-0 home victory over the Philadelphia Union on Saturday night. Both of the goals at Drv Pnk Stadium came from outside the penalty area, with Jean scoring the winner via a pinpoint low effort before substitute Taylor hit a stunning volley that is likely to fill some highlight reels.
The clean sheet triumph moved the South Florida side to 2-0 on the season, marking the first time La Rosanegra has started a campaign with back-to-back wins. The result also made Inter Miami one of only two teams in the Eastern Conference to start out perfect in 2023.
Phil Neville’s men will travel for their next match, which takes place on March 11 against New York City FC at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, New York.
