2023 MLS Regular Season: Nashville SC 2-1 Inter Miami
The South Florida side's unbeaten streak across all competitions was snapped after giving up goals on each side of halftime in the midweek tussle
Inter Miami’s unbeaten run and winning streak are no more.
Inter Miami suffered its first loss in five matches across all competitions on Wednesday after dropping a 2-1 result away to Nashville SC at Geodis Park in Nashville, Tennessee. Fafa Picault and Lukas MacNaughton scored on each side of halftime for the largely untroubled hosts while Dixon Arroyo scored a consolation goal and his first MLS tally in second-half stoppage time.
The defeat sunk the South Florida side to 5-0-7 on the year, pushing the team down into 11th place in the Eastern Conference.
Inter Miami will not have to wait long to try and make amends, as Phil Neville’s men host arch-rival Orlando City on Saturday at Drv Pnk Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, as part of a jam-packed May.
