A pair of second-half goals sunk Inter Miami to a second straight road defeat, as the South Florida side lost 2-0 to Toronto FC at a frigid BMO Field in Toronto, Canada on Saturday night. Jonathan Osorio and Mark-Anthony Kaye authored the game’s tallies, with Osorio providing the winner in the 48th minute before Kaye added insurance in the 69th with a looping header.
The result dropped Inter Miami to 2-0-2 on the year, with both losses coming in shutout fashion while playing as visitors.
Phil Neville’s team, which was without injured captain Gregore and right back DeAndre Yedlin on Saturday, next returns home to play the Chicago Fire on March 25.
