Here is how Inter Miami fared in its closed-doors friendly vs. the New England Revolution
Phil Neville's men locked horns with the fellow Eastern Conference side in Sarasota on Thursday morning
Josef Martinez has made his unofficial Inter Miami debut, but it was his strike partner who shone in the team’s most recent preseason game.
Sources have told Miami Total Futbol that Inter Miami used a Leonardo Campana brace to tie the New England Revolution. 2-2, in a friendly played in Sarasota, Florida, on Thursday. Campana twice put the South Florida side in front, but the Revolution struck back both times to end the exhibition in a stalemate.
Martinez, meanwhile, started and played about 20 minutes in his first Inter Miami match. He was replaced by Robbie Robinson.
Inter Miami, which is now 1-1-2 this preseason with a -4 goal differential, will return home to Fort Lauderdale on Friday for the final stretch of preseason.
La Rosanegra’s next tune-up is on Feb. 11 against an opponent that has not yet been identified.
