Inter Miami 1-0 FC Cincinnati
Brek Shea scored a dramatic 90th-minute winner as the Herons posted a second straight shutout
Inter Miami sure is making a habit of winning games late.
Brek Shea became the latest Inter Miami player to deliver the goods near the death, scoring a 90th-minute goal that lifted his side to a 1-0 road victory over FC Cincinnati. Shea’s dramatic and decisive strike came off a nicely-timed diagonal run in behind the defense, which Nicolas Figal picked out with a quality long ball that Shea controlled well before finishing.
The triumph at TQL Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio, marked the third time in the last six matches that the South Florida side found a late winner. The result also gave the team a second straight cleansheet, and moved the Herons back to within four points of a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
