Is this the new Inter Miami training top for 2022?

A highly-anticipated pink game jersey is on the way for Inter Miami, and so too apparently is a new training top of the same color.

Images of what will be one version of Inter Miami’s apparent 2022 practice kit have leaked via the ever-reliable FootyHeadlines.com. The pictures show an Adidas jersey that is predominantly pink, includes white accents, and has a monochrome crest over the heart.

While the images show a long-sleeve top, a short sleeve version is also sure to be released if this is indeed the 2022 training kit model.

Inter Miami opened up preseason camp this week with players donning the 2021 training top, which has several differences from this apparent new shirt. Among them are the shade of pink, a colored crest, the placement and black lettering on the logo of jersey sponsor Autonation, and other black accents along the collar, sleeves and Adidas logo.

Assuming these leaked images are truly representative of Inter Miami’s new training jersey, it will be one of at least two pink tops the Herons will soon unveil. We reported over at SBISoccer.com in May of last year that Inter Miami was set to launch a new pink primary jersey for the 2022 season, something the South Florida side confirmed late last month.

There is currently no official date for when the game jerseys will be showcased, but it will be sometime before Inter Miami opens the 2022 season at home on Feb. 26 vs. the Chicago Fire.
