New York Red Bulls 1-0 Inter Miami
Patryk Klimala's first-half finish extended Inter Miami's losing skid to five games
This losing streak just will not end for Inter Miami.
The New York Red Bulls became the latest team to beat Inter Miami, using a Patryk Klimala goal to top the South Florida side, 1-0, on Saturday night. The result at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey, extended the Herons’ skid to five games, and left them eight points shy of the playoff line in the Eastern Conference with six matches to go in the year.
Klimala’s winner came in the 25th minute off a composed finish that punctuated a sequence that started with a Kelvin Leerdam turnover. Inter Miami, meanwhile, finished the showdown with just one shot on target that came in the final seconds.
