New York Red Bulls 4-0 Inter Miami
A 10-man Inter Miami saw its unbeaten run come to an end with an ugly home defeat
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — The festive mood surrounding Inter Miami just turned into one of frustration.
Inter Miami saw its unbeaten run come to an end on Friday night, losing for the first time in seven matches via a 4-0 rout at the hands of the New York Red Bulls at Drv Pnk Stadium. Phil Neville’s side played down a man for the majority of the match, as centerback Nicolas Figal was sent off with his second bookable offense in the 38th minute.
The dominant Red Bulls were already up 2-0 at that point, getting goals from Patryk Kilmala and Omir Fernandez before Fabio capped the lopsided win with a pair of headers in the second half. The defeat dropped eight-placed Inter Miami to 9-5-10 on the year.
